Mood Scent 4 Relaxing Fragrances
Welcome to our latest post of the Mood Scent 4 blogging project
We are four perfume bloggers from France, The Netherlands, England and Wales who write about the same theme every couple of months. This time we choose relaxing perfumes, very suited for this particularly warm summer.
I really look forward to read the relaxing fragrances Megan from Megan From St Máxime, Tara from A Bottled Rose and Sam from I Scent You A Day choose on their websites. You can find their picks at the end of this article.
Relaxing Summer Afternoon
There are a few perfumes I love to wear during the day when I want to relax. Especially neroli fragrances are my personal favorites. Like Atelier Cologne Grand Neroli with notes of neroli, bergamot, petitgrain, galbanum, oakmoss, musk, cedarwood, vanilla or (the sadly discontinued) Annick Goutal Les Colognes Neroli with orange blossom, neroli, petit grain lemon, heliotrope and white musks.
Another personal favorite is the cozy Carner Tardes with notes of geranium, Bulgarian rose, rosewood, almond, cedar wood, celery, plum, tonka bean, musk and heliotrope. It is very suited for a hot summer evening when you just want to relax in the shadow of a tree with a glass of cold white wine or another refreshing drink.
Slowing Down To Go To Sleep
If I want to slow down before going to sleep I love to wear April Aromatics Liquid Dreams with natural extracts of lemon peel, lindenblossom, narcissus and osmanthus blossom. It is such a relaxing fragrance I can’t wear it during the day as it makes me want to go to sleep instantly. BTW: for those interested in aromatherapy, one ingredients of Liquid Dreams is lindenblossom which is said to be good for those suffering from insomnia*. Liquid Dreams is available in Hotel Zoo Berlin as a shower gel and a body lotion as well and can be ordered online.
In A Few Words: my favorite perfumes for sleep and relaxation are April Aromatics Liquid Dreams, neroli centrered fragrances Atelier Cologne Grand Neroli and Annick Goutal Les Colognes Neroli and cozy Carner Tardes.
I can’t wait to go to A Bottled Rose, Megan in St Maxine and I Scent You A Day and read their choices. Make sure you visit them too and share your own favorite sleep and relaxation perfumes in the comments.

I think that Caron pour un Homme and Les Plus Belles Lavandes de Caron are amazingly relaxing. Also, Hammam Bouquet relaxes me and takes me back to the times when Sheila Pickles owned Penhaligon’s and the Wellington Street shop was amazing. Just thinking of those times, makes me all relaxed and happy.

Thank you for stopping by, Prince Barry! The Wellington Street Shop must have been amazing. Would have loved to see it. It sounds amazing. I can imagine it relaxes you when you smell Hammam Bouquet as it reminds you of this time. Lavender can have such a relaxing effect, I love Caron Pour Un Homme as well for this reason.

Hello I loved your choices and the photos are exquisite. The neroli is beautiful. I really enjoy that fragrance too. And Liquid Dreams as well. ✨
